Airport
Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) at San Jose del Cabo
The Los Cabos airport is located 13 km (8 miles) north of San Jose del Cabo and 48 km (29 miles northeast of Cabo San Lucas. Direct flight duration from YVR to SJD is approximately 4 hours (3,123 km). Cabo time is one hour ahead of Vancouver time.

Cabo San Lucas Beaches
Medano Beach The Dune Beach
Medano Beach is the main safe swimming beach in Cabo San Lucas and the most popluar. It begins at the east side of the harbor and extends along Cabo San Lucas Bay all the way to Villa del Palmar.
Lover’s Beach
Playa del Amor (Love Beach) or Playa del Amante (Lover’s Beach) – also known as Playa Doña Chepa in earlier years is located on the Sea of Cortez side of Land’s End at Cabo San Lucas.
Divorce Beach
This stretch of clean white sand is located on the Pacific side a short walk from Playa del AMor. Divorce Beach is great for sunbathing and relaxing, but It is very dangerous to swim on this beach.
Solmar Beach (Playa Solmar, TerraSol & Finisterra Beach)
This wide stretch of white sand beach faces the Pacific Ocean and runs from the rocks at Land’s End to the base of Pedregal to the West

Art Walk
Thursday night institution in downtown San Jose del Cabo’s vibrant and compact historic art district seasonal from November to May. Locals and tourists cruise through the 14 galleries – two of which have earned a mention in the Wall Street Journal – enjoying libations, live music and unique art from the Baja and other parts of Mexico. The art district is also home to many eateries, making Art Walk a great way to spend the evening, exploring the historic area of an authentic, modern Mexican town, just 20 miles northeast of Cabo San Lucas.

Golf
Los Cabos has become one of the premier golf destinations in Mexico. There are five champion ship golf courses. The Palmilla and Cabo del Sol courses are designed by Jack Nicklaus, the Cabo San Lucas Country Club was created by Roy Dye and the Cabo Real Golf Resort was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. There is also an excellent nine hole public course at Campo de Golf San Jose.

Scuba Diving
Chileno Bay: A breath-taking bay known for its diving and snorkeling among large rocky reef with coral trees and a variety of schooling tropical fish. Sea turtles and eels are often seen here. Depths of 30 to 70 feet.
Sand Falls: Discovered by Jacques Cousteau, the SandFalls are steep sand banks cascading into the underwater canyon populated with many tropical fish. Depths of 90 to 120 feet.
Santa Maria: A sheltered cove with multicolored gorgonians and sea fans along rocky walls where a tropical reef fish congregate. A great experience for snorkeling and diving. Depths up to 40 feet.
Sea Lion Colony: This dive gives even novice divers a chance to observe the sea lions in their own habitat. Depths of 30 to 70 feet.
La Anegada: The Cabo San Lucas canyon wall sinks straight into a deep blue abyss lined with sea fans and schools of fish at one of Cabo’s best and most versatile dive sites. Depths of 20 to 80 feet.
Whales Head: Amazing rock formations are home to sea turtles, octopus and moray eels. Small nurse sharks and guitarfish sometimes can be seen. Depths of 30 to 60 feet.
